Stegra Steel Mill, Boden (Sweden)

Nord Raudoitus Oy subsidiary Nord Armering AB is involved in the construction of the Stegra Steel Mill in Boden, Sweden. The project started in 2023 and the works are still ongoing.

So far, a total of 9,824,179 kg of reinforcement has been installed at the site, and more than 300,000 working hours have been completed. At peak capacity, the project has employed over 200 professionals from Nord Armering AB
. The works began with a team of approximately 10 workers, and as the project progressed, resources were rapidly scaled to more than 200 employees to meet changing site demands.

This demanding industrial project requires continuous adaptability and strong commitment to project schedules. We have consistently met agreed targets in all conditions — including challenging winter weather, where our workers carried out additional tasks such as nighttime snow removal to ensure work could continue as planned the following day.

The project demonstrates our ability to manage large-scale operations, rapidly scale resources, and maintain continuity and quality throughout every stage of construction.

STEGRA STEEL MILL, BODEN, SWEDEN

Nord Raudoitus Oy carried out the reinforcement and formwork works for the F Building at Oulu University Hospital in Oulu. Between 2021 and 2023, a total of 1,200 tons of reinforcement was installed at the site.

NIINIMÄKI WIND FARM

In 2023, Nord Raudoitus Oy carried out the reinforcement works for the Niinimäki Wind Farm in Pieksämäki. The project included 22 gravity foundations, where a total of 3,100 tons of reinforcement was installed, along with grounding and piping works.

OULU UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL

Nord Raudoitus Oy carried out the reinforcement and formwork works for the F Building at Oulu University Hospital in Oulu. Between 2021 and 2023, a total of 1,200 tons of reinforcement was installed at the site.
